Talent Meeting is managing a confidential search for a manufacturing company with plant operations in Mexico.
The organization requires an experienced Human Resources leader to manage all people-related functions at plant level, ensuring operational continuity, labor compliance, employee engagement, effective staffing, training, and strong employee relations.

Perfil del Candidato
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree required. - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
5+ years of management experience. - Human Resources experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
- Experience managing plant-level HR functions, policies, employee relations, staffing, training, compliance, and labor-related processes.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders, management teams, employees, and peers.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction efforts within plant operations.
- Languages:
Fluent English and Spanish required.
- Technical Knowledge:
Human Resources management in manufacturing environments. - Recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, retention, and staffing processes.
- Employee relations and labor relations.
- Compensation and wage administration.
- Performance management and succession planning.
- Training plan development and implementation.
- Mexican labor regulations, social security requirements, NOM-035, and applicable employee laws.
- Personnel records management and HR reporting.
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

📋 Responsabilidades Clave
- Recruitment and Staffing:
Organize and execute recruitment, selection, hiring, onboarding, offboarding, retention, and attraction processes for hourly and salaried personnel. - HR Advisory to Plant Leadership:
Advise the Plant Manager and leadership team on employee-related matters that impact plant performance, operational efficiency, workforce planning, and employee relations. - Employee Relations:
Maintain constructive relationships between team members, plant leadership, and management, supporting a positive and productive work environment. - Policy and Labor Compliance:
Apply and communicate plant policies, employee handbook guidelines, internal procedures, and applicable labor requirements, including Mexican labor regulations, IMSS-related matters, NOM-035, and other employment obligations. - Performance and Talent Processes:
Coordinate performance review procedures, individual development processes, appraisal surveys, succession planning, and continuous improvement discussions. - Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare accurate and timely reports required by the plant, corporate teams, government entities, internal stakeholders, and external parties when applicable. - Employee Engagement:
Administer morale surveys, coordinate follow-up actions, close identified issues, and support employee recognition and engagement initiatives. - Personnel Records:
Maintain accurate employee files and personnel records in compliance with legal, corporate, and business requirements. - Compensation Administration:
Administer hourly wage and salary processes, including records related to new hire progression within the wage structure. - Workforce Adjustments:
Support management in accurate layoff procedures or workforce changes in the event of operational shutdowns or business needs. - Training and Development:
Ensure the plant has an appropriate training plan aligned with operational needs, employee development, performance standards, and competency requirements. - Corrective and Preventive Actions:
Implement and follow up on corrective and preventive actions when discrepancies, gaps, or compliance issues are identified. - Workforce Control Programs:
Support programs related to attendance, tardiness, turnover, disciplinary actions, and other employee-related indicators. - Labor Relations:
Participate in local union negotiations and support the administration of labor agreements.
